why does society push you to get a "9-5" job? whats so special about it?. in my opinion it sucks. i wake up early to get to work come home late due to rush hour traffic. eat dinner and by 7 or 8 pm im about ready for bed. what kind of life is that? and then of course when i dont sleep at 7 or 8 im up till 1 in the morning blogging about pointless shiet. i have to process 119 people by friday, and tommorow i have an office trip to the staten island yankees game. and how am i supposed to have everything done by 9 am friday? you tell me. NYCHA still does not recycle. todays meeting in the city wasnt even for me! one of my many supervisors was supposed to attend but last minute told me to fill in. are you nuts?! so during my lunch break i ran grabbed food and hopped on the 1pm ferry caught the R train just in time to make it to city hall cross the street to central office.. find my way to conference room and pretend to know what they were talking about. when asked if i was the new supervisor i simply smiled and shook my head no, and recieved many good lucks and giggles. when returning from the city karen and i caught the 430 ferry walked past the police station passed the ballpark and reached my office to find the office empty except 2 people, i grabbed josephs car keys(we switched during the day bc he went to fix the car) didnt even swipe out, and left only to drive under a waterfall. why is working 9-5 the thing were all supposed to shoot for?? im so glad im going to be a cop. |
